NOT ALL ANGELS HAVE WINGS

Luna at Dillon beach, ears alert, eyes full of trust waiting, but not along. Austin was there, just behind the lens. This was their kind of place: wild, open, full of quiet connection. She wasn’t just his dog. She was his companion, his pack, and his angel in disguise

WHAT REMAINS

Weathered by time and tide, this grounded ship tells a story of journeys past. Austin was drawn to places like this - where beauty lingers in decay and silence carries

THE THRESHOLD

At the edge of the Pacific, where the sea disappears into stone, Austin captured more than a landscape, he captured a metaphor. This image speaks of the unknown, of standing before something cast and unknowable. A reminder that beauty often lives where certainty ends.

SILENT REFLECTIONS

The lake lies quiet, mirroring mountain and sky in perfect calm. Time seems to stop here - where stone meets water and reflection runs deeper than the surface. Austin captured a moment of peace and reverence.

DESERT WONDER

#whereisaustindickey - “This is one of my favorite places and i think about it often. an island rising from the sea of land, the life that clings to it holding it together after all this time. Resisting being torn apart by the wind and blown into the dunes. It’s hard not to feel the push and pull of time standing here.”

THE LAST LIGHT

#whereisaustindickey = There’s not much I can say to describe the beauty of Yosemite that hasn’t already been said better, so I’ll just saw “wow”. I’ll rarely camp out with a tripod and shoot in one place for several hours, but yesterday was a exception to the rule and I’m happy that I did. Exhausted from a 12 mile hike the day before, I didn’t have the energy to do much else but sit around. I went up to Tunnel View and camped out from noon until the stars came out.
